Rapeseed oil is one of the healthiest and more tasteful of all the culinary oils and has one of the lowest saturated fat contents. It contains omegas 3, 6 and 9 and is also GM free.
As it is high in monounsaturated fats, it is one of the only unblended oils that can be heated to a high frying temperature whilst at the same time not spoiling its antioxidants, its character, its colour or its flavour.
Rapeseed can also be used and served in dips and dressings as well as for frying.
Rapeseed can be stored like any other oils for many months in a sealed container at room temperature.
